How we nourish our mind and body influences our wellbeing. Are nourishing your body with nutrient dense whole foods? Are you nourishing your mind with positive and supportive influences that support your evolution?
Nourish your body with nutrient dense foods. Include a mix of veggies, fruit, whole grains, nuts & seeds, legumes and liven up your meals with herbs and spices. These foods provide your gut with healthy bacteria that supports your digestive system ensuring that necessary nutrients are released into your body. About 70% of immune cells live in your gut - protecting our immune system is so important in these pandemic times.
We take in a lot of information throughout the day from the Internet, social media, news, and people in our lives that have a strong influence on us mentally and emotionally. Process the information in a way that supports your evolution. You have control over the notifications that constantly ping on your phone. What is your relationship with social media? Is your time spent supporting your intentions? Taking a digital break, as uncomfortable as it sounds, is necessary to clear out the noise.
Before you jump out of bed to start the day, say a positive affirmation to inspire your day. I usually start with “Today is an amazing day!” Try it and observe how your day unfolds.
